Troubleshooting Steps

  • Step 1 - Locate the POE Injector. It will be either white or black. It is roughly the size of a bar of soap.

  • Step 2 - Verify that the POE injector has power. You should see a light illuminated on the top of it.

  • Step 3 - Verify that the cables are plugged in all the way.  You can do this by unplugging the cable then plugging it back in and you should hear a click.

  • Step 4 - Once you verify that the cables are plugged in all the way and secure. Then wait 10 minutes and test the internet connection.


    If the internet service has not returned at that time. Give us a call at 337-282-0300 or proceed to Step 5.

  • Step 5 - Try bypassing your router. Plug the cable that is going into the internet port on your router into a laptop and see if you have an internet connection. If you do have connectivity then the issue may be with your router.
